I believe that your inner light reflects in all aspects of your life, personal and professional. I have felt the impacts of social distancing and will admit that sometimes, it gets to me. Once I recognized this, I decided to put the effort into protecting and improving my mental health. Establish a Routinen n </b> n </div> n <div style=””> n </div> n <div> n n Now that we’re spending more time at home, our natural breaks in the day are gone. This can be especially challenging for those who have to work remotely. I highly recommend establishing a schedule to try and incorporate healthy breaks in your daily life. Carve out time to eat and have a strict cut-off from work. An integral part of this is to stay active. This can be a quick 15-minute stretch or a brisk walk outside to clear your mind. n n </div> n <div> n <br/> n </div> n <div> n </div> n <div style=””> n <b> n n 2. Communicaten n </b> n </div> n <div style=””> n </div> n <div> n n It’s a tough time! Whether you’re an introvert or an extrovert, we’ve never experienced this before. Don’t shy away from communicating how you feel. Talk to friends and family to stay connected and share your feelings. In addition, pick up a journal and start writing. Keep a record of your thoughts and feelings. Expressing yourself will help. n n </div> n <div> n <br/> n </div> n <div> n </div> n <div style=””> n <b> n n 3. Treat Yourself Kindly n n </b> n </div> n <div style=””> n </div> n <div> n n Be kind to yourself. Give yourself more grace and forgiveness compared to normal. Celebrate accomplishments, no matter how small.
